Geotechnical Engineering
Dale is a Chartered Civil Engineer with a specialisation in geotechnical engineering. Dale has worked on a broad range of projects across several sectors in the construction industry, with lead roles on projects during desk study, ground investigation, design, construction, and maintenance stages. Dale has experience in the design and construction of heavy civil works, including ground investigations, earthworks, slope stabilisation, embedded and gravity retaining walls, reinforced earth, shallow and deep foundations, directional drilling, and the remediation of defects related to geotechnical works.
Dale has been involved in a variety of forensic investigations on matters involving slope failures, embedded and gravity retaining wall defects, failure of shallow and piled foundations, tree-related damage to buildings, failure of attenuation tanks, earthwork fill placement issues, pavement defects, and flooding and drainage defects.
