Stuart is a Chartered Structural Engineer with over fifteen years of experience in the construction industry. During this period, he has worked on a broad variety of projects across several sectors, including residential, commercial and educational developments, and at listed churches and galleries. Stuart’s work has ranged from the design of new steel and concrete framed buildings to the refurbishment of a number of highly significant historic buildings.

Stuart has conducted a wide range of forensic investigations, addressing issues such as defects in steel and concrete-framed buildings, the dynamic response and fatigue of barrier structures, and the differential movement and deterioration of timber-framed buildings. He has also investigated the settlement of low-rise residential buildings and defects in cladding systems.
