Tristram Hambly is a Chartered Civil Engineer with over thirty years of experience in the construction industry. He has worked on structural and civil engineering projects in the United Kingdom and overseas including the design and construction of bridges, buildings, external works and drainage. His interests and experience include civil engineering structures, post-tensioned concrete bridges, buildings and building envelopes.
Tristram is regularly instructed as an Expert advising solicitors, insurers, contractors, consulting engineers and building owners on the engineering issues in a wide range of matters including structural failures, structural defects, building envelope failures, vibrations in buildings, basements and water ingress, subsidence, workmanship issues and professional duties relating to design. He is experienced in liaising with solicitors and barristers and has prepared many CPR-compliant reports and joint statements for submission at mediations, adjudications, arbitrations and in court.
